How can I delete my Clue account?

If you’d like to delete your Clue account, you can do this directly through the Clue app. Once you delete your account you won’t be able to reactivate it, or get your tracked health data back.

To delete your account, follow these steps:

  1. Open your Clue app.
  2. Go to the More Menu, the ‘=’ in the top-right corner of your Cycle View.
  3. Tap ‘Support’.
  4. Tap ‘Account Questions’.
  5. Scroll down and tap “How do I delete my account?”.
  6. Enter your password and tap ‘Delete account’.

If your account was created with a social login (Google or Facebook) or with a masked email address from Apple (which you can see in your app menu, at the top of the page), it likely doesn't have a password. You'll need to set one through this link: https://helloclue.com/forgot-password 

If you have a running Clue Plus subscription assigned to your Clue account, you'll need to cancel it before deleting your account.

Please note that if you ask us for the deletion of your data or of your account, unless you have previously made a backup, your data will be irreversibly deleted. 

If we can verify your identity, we do not need any further confirmation from you, we will just proceed with your request.

Therefore, please consider downloading a machine-readable copy of your data before asking for deletion / deleting your account.
