I accidentally typed the wrong email when creating my account and then subscribed to Clue Plus. How can I fix this?

If you mistyped your email address when creating your Clue account and then purchased Clue Plus, our team cannot edit the email address for you. 

Don’t worry, we can guide you through the next steps to make sure you keep access to your subscription:
 

  1. Log out of the account with the mistyped email address.
  2. Register a new Clue account using your correct email address and verify this new account.
  3. Contact us through this form, indicating your correct email address in the first field. Do not enter the mistyped one; otherwise, our replies will be sent there instead. 
  4. In your request, let us know that you need your Clue Plus subscription transferred from the mistyped account to the correct one.
  5. Please include your Order ID (for iOS) or Transaction ID (for Android) for the subscription. 

 

How to find your Order ID for iOS subscriptions: 

  1. Open Settings on your device.
  2. Tap your name, then go to Media & Purchases.
  3. Tap View Account and sign in if prompted.
  4. Select Purchase History.
  5. Choose a date range (last 90 Days is the default).
  6. Find your Clue Plus order ID—it’s a series of capital letters and numbers on the right side of the screen. You can copy it and paste it into your message to us.

Alternatively, you can try to find an email from Apple called "Your receipt from Apple" or "Your invoice from Apple". That should contain the Order ID as well.

 

How to find your Transaction ID for Android subscriptions:

  1. Check your email for the purchase confirmation email from the Play Store.
  2. Or look in the “other purchase activity” tab at payments.google.com
  3. It's a code starting with the letters GPA. You can copy and paste it into your message to us.

Once you provide us with this information, we’ll be able to transfer your subscription to the correct Clue account.
