Whether you choose to see a healthcare provider before using Clue Conceive is up to you. In general, it’s recommended to schedule a preconception visit with an OB/GYN, Nurse Practitioner, or Certified Nurse Midwife if you’re thinking about trying to conceive. If you choose to not have a preconception visit, that’s also okay.
If you’ve already been trying to conceive for some time, or are already 35 or older, then seeing a healthcare provider in combination with using Clue Conceive is encouraged. This can optimize the time you spend trying to conceive without medical intervention.
Here are some recommendations on when to see a healthcare provider:
- If you’re under 35 years old, and have been trying to conceive for more than 12 months.
- If you’re between 35-39 years old, and have been trying to conceive for more than 6 months.
- If you’re over the age of 40.
- If you have a reproductive health condition like endometriosis or uterine fibroids, or if your partner has a testicle condition or a history of injury to their testicles.
