How is the community moderated?

Clue Community is moderated to ensure no content or behavior violates the Community Rules. If there’s a violation, then Clue has the right to remove content and restrict or ban members who violate them.

All content in the community (i.e. posts, comments, polls, images) goes through moderation. We use a combination of techniques and automated systems to check for inappropriate content. This includes filtering for certain keywords, using AI technology to scan content, reviewing reports from community members, and manual checking by Clue and Octopus Community staff. Octopus Community is the company that helps operate the feature for us.

Please note, content in the community is created by Clue users and is not moderated for medical accuracy. It should not be treated as medical advice. If you see any content that’s medically inaccurate, please report it to us and we will review the content and take action as necessary.

If you’re using the community, you can go to Resources for Clue Community for more information on moderation. Open the More Menu > Scroll down to ‘Resources’ > Tap “Resources for Clue Community” > View the “Moderation” tab.
