Clue Community is designed to be an anonymous space. That’s intentional, as we want people to feel comfortable talking about their health without worry or fear of judgement.
To ensure your privacy in the community, we’ve set up the following:
- A community profile has no connection to your Clue account, meaning your name, email and Clue data stay completely separate. None of this personal data can be traced back to your activity in the community.
- When your profile is created, a random user name and profile picture will be generated for you. These have no connection to you or your Clue data, and they cannot be edited.
- As set out in the Community Rules, we ask members to protect the anonymity of the space and never include any personal information in their posts, comments or images. That includes your name, email address, location, contact details, medical records, or anything that could identify you or someone else. This is also recommended for your data security.
We’d also like to add, there’s no requirement to actively engage in the community. People are welcome to just be observers, if that feels better for them.
