To provide the Clue Community feature, certain types of data are processed by Clue and a third-party provider called Octopus Community, a company based in France. Octopus Community is the company that helps operate the feature for us.
Your Clue data (such as account data, health data, app usage data) is never shared with Octopus Community. They are strictly permitted to only process data and activity from within the community feature, never any other part of the Clue app.
If you’re using the community, you can go to Resources for Clue Community for more information on privacy and data processing. Open the More Menu > Scroll down to ‘Resources’ > Tap “Resources for Clue Community” > View the “Privacy” tab.
