Clue Plus vouchers and Clue Plus discount codes work in different ways and serve different purposes. While both grant you a Clue Plus subscription, the way they look, how they are redeemed, and what they mean for your subscription going forward, are not the same.
Clue Plus Vouchers
- What they look like: Vouchers are made up of 9 characters (both letters and/or numbers) in the format XXX-XXX-XXX.
- How to redeem: Sign into your Clue account at helloclue.com and follow these instructions.

The way it works: A voucher grants a Clue Plus subscription, for free, for a set amount of time. Once the subscription expires, it won’t be automatically renewed.

Clue Plus Discount Codes
- What they look like: Discount codes can take different forms, including words, letters, numbers and/or punctuation. They are not limited to 9 characters and do not contain hyphens (like Clue Plus Vouchers)
- How to redeem: Discount codes are to be used specifically when purchasing a Clue Plus subscription via helloclue.com. They are applied at check-out by following these instructions.

The way it works: A discount code can give you a set discount on the full price of a Clue Plus subscription (eg. 75% off) or it can grant you access to Clue Plus free of charge for a set period of time (eg. 12 months free). Depending on the type of discount you received, your subscription may renew at the discounted price or at full price – please check the fine print at checkout. You can cancel a subscription in advance by following these instructions (specifically for subscriptions from HelloClue.com).
