If you’d like to create a unique tracking option that’s not already in the Clue app, you can easily do this with the “Daily Note” and “Tags” functions. Use "Daily Note" to add personalized notes to your daily tracking, and "Tags" to create custom tracking options for anything you’d like to track that’s not included in the available options.
How to make sure Daily Notes are enabled:
- Make sure you have enabled Clue Plus on your device.
- Tap the “Track” button at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap “Customize” at the top of the screen.
- Scroll down to find the “Daily Note” tracking option.
- Toggle it on by tapping the button at the right side of the screen.
How to create a Daily Note:
- Make sure you’ve enabled Daily Notes (see above).
- Tap “Track” and scroll down to the 'Daily Note’ section.
- Write your note for the day.
- Confirm the new note by tapping “Done” at the bottom right corner of your keyboard if using iOS, or by clicking the check mark in the same location if using Android.
- You will see your note added for the day you’re currently on in your Clue Calendar.
How to make sure Tags are enabled:
- Tap the “Track” button at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap “Customize” at the top of the screen.
- Scroll down to find the “Tags” tracking option (by default it’s in the middle of the list but you can change it—here is how).
- Toggle it on by tapping the button on the right side of the screen.
- Go back to the tracking screen, you’ll now see “My tags” in your tracking options.
How to create a Tag:
- Make sure you’ve enabled tags (see above).
- Tap “Track” and scroll down to the ‘My tags’ section.
- Tap “Create new tag” at the right side of the screen.
- Write your tag.
- Confirm the new tag by tapping “Done” at the bottom right corner of your keyboard if using iOS, or by clicking the check mark in the same location if using Android.
- You’ll now see your tag in the list and be able to track it whenever you need.
How to manage a Tag:
To delete a Tag you no longer want to use or that you mistyped, simply tap the “X” icon next to the tag. NOTE: If you have tracked this tag in the past, deleting it will also remove all occurrences of that tag in your tracked data, which cannot be recovered.
Free users can create up to 5 custom Tags. With Clue Plus, you can create unlimited custom Tags and add more detail to your tracking experience with the Daily Note feature.
