Right now, it’s not possible to manually indicate in the Clue app when your period ends. This is done automatically based on when you do and do not track bleeding.
Clue assumes your period starts on the first day you track ‘Light’, ‘Medium’, ‘Heavy’ or ‘Super heavy’ bleeding, and that your period ends when you stop tracking these options. After there is 1 complete day without this bleeding being tracked, the Clue algorithm will understand that your period has ended.
In some circumstances, it may look like your period has been recorded as longer than what you actually tracked.
This happens when your period is shorter than your predicted period length. Any extra days when bleeding was predicted to occur, but no bleeding was tracked, will remain visible as light pink for the time being.
After your current cycle ends, however, your Calendar View will update and show only the period days you tracked.
Your period prediction is based on your last 6 periods, with the Clue algorithm calculating the average length. Over time, your predicted period length will update if your body is experiencing this change.
Please note that spotting is never counted as part of your period when tracked. This is because spotting is defined as very light bleeding that happens between periods.
