FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) are special savings accounts you can use to pay for healthcare costs tax-free.
FSAs are employer-sponsored and can cover healthcare or dependent care expenses, while HSAs are available to people enrolled in a qualifying high-deductible health plan.
Most FSA funds not used by the end of the plan year are forfeited, although your employer may offer a grace period or a limited rollover option.
