To track your period in Clue, you will need to log each day of your period in the tracking category ‘Bleeding’.
Clue assumes your period starts on the first day you track ‘Light’, ‘Medium’ or ‘Heavy’ bleeding, and that your period has ended when you stop tracking these options.
To track your period, follow these steps:
- Open your Clue app.
- Tap on Track, or go to the Calendar View.
- Tap the day your period started.
- On Calendar View, you will need to double tap.
- Tap the ‘Bleeding’ category.
- Select either 'Light', 'Medium' or 'Heavy' depending on how heavy your bleeding is.
- Do not log ‘Spotting’, as although spotting can appear just before and right after your period, it is not considered part of the menstrual period. Clue only considers ‘Light’, ‘Medium’ or ‘Heavy’ bleeding for its period calculations.
- Repeat this for all the days of your period.
- For iOS: Tap ‘Done’ in the top right-hand corner to save what you tracked.
For Android: Tap ‘←’ in the top left-hand corner to save what you tracked.
Tracking accurately and consistently makes Clue’s predictions more precise.
