How do I know when to start a new cycle?

Deciding when to manually begin your cycle will depend on your unique circumstances. In Clue Tracking, your cycle is up to you. For example, you might begin a new cycle when you change your contraceptive patch or ring, start a new pack of pills, take a testosterone shot, or adjust your hormone therapy dose. Tracking experiences like mood swings, breast tenderness, energy shifts, or spotting for a few months can help you spot patterns and notice any changes. Some people may choose to start a new cycle whenever they notice a shift in their physical or emotional experiences, marking a fresh point to start tracking recurring patterns. The more you track, the clearer your cycle patterns will become.
