What are Clue’s principles when it comes to partnerships with other brands?

At Clue, we put our community first. That’s why our business model is subscriptions – so our only customers are our end users. Doing this means our app only serves the people we build it for, not the agendas of advertisers, insurance companies, data brokers, or anyone else.

For this reason, any partnership we consider or embark on is very carefully vetted against the following criteria and considerations:

  1. Is it in the interest of and/or for the benefit of our users?
  2. Does it help improve, support, or advance the health and wellbeing of people with cycles?
  3. Is it scientifically and ethically sound?
  4. Is it in alignment with our vision of no barriers, no myths, and no taboos?
  5. Does the partner adhere to strict data protection requirements in accordance with the EU’s GDPR?

We are always open to considering partnerships and collaborations with partners that can help support our mission, benefit our community, or that can help to make Clue more accessible to more people around the world. What we will never do, and will never entertain, is selling personal data.
