Oura の体温傾向は基礎体温 (BBT) とどう違うのでしょうか?

Basal body temperature (BBT) is your body’s temperature when you are fully at rest. It can be monitored via the mouth, rectum or vagina, ideally right after waking up while still laying in bed. When measured correctly and consistently, changes in BBT can help identify when you ovulated or in which phase of your cycle you are.

Oura Ring measures your temperature via the skin on your finger, making the nature of this temperature value different from BBT. However, skin temperature measurements (Oura temperature trends) can also be used to understand changes in your body because changes in skin temperature almost always coincide with changes in BBT. If you’re not on hormonal birth control, Oura temperature trends can give you insights in your personal patterns throughout the different cycle phases and events.
