What do I do if I see a technical error banner while using Clue Birth Control?

Sometimes technology doesn’t work as expected. If there is a technical error in the app, you will see the following message on a banner: "There’s an unexpected technical error. To be sure you’re safe, use protection." We do this to make sure that you don’t put yourself at risk of an unintended pregnancy until the technical error is solved.


If you know you're connected to the Internet, but you still see a technical error banner, try to restart the app by closing it and reopening it. If restarting doesn't work immediately, try again later. If you still see the technical error banner instead of a risk prediction banner, make sure to use a barrier method such as a condom when you have sex that may result in pregnancy.
