If you want to start using Clue Birth Control but your cycles do not currently meet the eligibility criteria or if you’re already using Clue Birth Control and it tells you that you’re no longer eligible to use the feature, it means that it cannot safely predict your risk for pregnancy. This may be due to your cycle length or the variability between the lengths of your previous cycles. You can still use the Period Tracking mode of the regular Clue app to track your cycles. However, this is not designed for contraception and is not safe to use for preventing pregnancy. It is advisable to speak to your healthcare provider about another method of contraception. Once you’ve had 12 cycles that meet the eligibility criteria, you’ll be able to access Clue Birth Control.
