Clue Birth Control is designed to be combined with another barrier method such as a condom, which you can use to protect yourself from pregnancy on high risk days. Don’t use Clue Birth Control if you’re currently using any form of hormonal birth control, such as the pill, minipill, vaginal ring, patch, implant, or hormonal IUD. Don’t use Clue Birth Control if you’re currently using the copper IUD. You can start using Clue Birth Control if you stopped using hormonal birth control or the copper IUD and have had at least 3 eligible cycles (4 periods) since stopping and meet all other eligibility criteria. These cycles must have been at least 20 days long and no more than 40 days long, with a difference of 9 days or less between your shortest and longest cycle over the last 12 cycles.
