Clue is not updating on my current iOS operating system. Why not?

When new versions of the iOS operating system are released, we stop supporting older versions. This makes sure new releases of the Clue app are compatible with the latest versions of iOS. 

The Clue app can only support the latest iOS version and the two versions preceding that version at the same time. If your Clue app is not updating, it could be that your device’s iOS version is no longer supported.

By updating your iOS operating system you will be able to use the newest version of the Clue app. To update your system, follow these steps:

  1. Open ‘Settings’ in your device.
  2. Tap ‘General’.
  3. Tap ‘Software Update’.
  4. A new iOS version should appear, ready for download. Tap ‘Download & Install’. 
  5. Once downloaded, you can then update your Clue app via the App Store.

If you decide not to update your iOS operating system, you can still use the Clue app. You can keep your account and all of your tracked data, however you won’t see any new features or updates in the app.
