Oops. If you've forgotten your passcode and been locked out of Clue on your iOS device, here's what to do. Resetting your passcode is a three step process:
- Create an iCloud or iTunes backup.
- Restore your Device from that backup.
- Reactivate the passcode feature.
The restore process turns off Clue's passcode. This method was chosen, because it ensures that only people with authorization for your Apple account can reset your passcode - hopefully that's only yourself.

You can follow either iCloud or iTunes instructions, whichever you prefer.
If you don't have an iCloud or iTunes backup, then please delete and reinstall the app. This should allow you to start fresh without a passcode.
