Accounts are not working - I'm getting an error message (Android)

If you're getting error messages when trying to log in to your Clue account, it could be because you never created an account in Clue to begin with.

We added the account functionality in December 2014. Before then (and now) it was possible to use Clue on your phone without having the data backed up to our servers.

If you recently switched phones and want to transfer your data to a new phone, we recommend either:

  • Creating an account on your old phone, verifying it, then logging into the account on your new phone.
  • Backing up your data from your old phone, then restoring it on your new phone.
  • Making a backup of your old phone, then restoring if on your new phone.
