How do I tell Clue that my period has started or stopped? (Android)

To let Clue know that your period has started or stopped, just enter bleeding in the calendar for each day of your period.

  1. Go to the calendar.
  2. Select a day in the calendar.
  3. Select 'period'.
  4. Select either 'light', 'medium' or 'heavy'. - "Spottings" are bleeding outside the period so you shouldn't enter those.

Clue assumes your period starts on the first day you enter bleeding and that it stops when you stop indicating bleeding. Clue will stop displaying its prediction for your current period after you've passed one day without bleeding.

Clue uses this flow-based model (instead of a start-stop model) because many people using Clue find the descriptive information more helpful when reviewing past cycles, and also when talking to their health practitioner.
